On the 19th of April, the partners of Baseline met each other for the first time physically in The Hague, The Netherlands. However, due to the restrictions in some Member States, the meeting was hybrid and not all partners were able to join the physical meeting. The General Assembly was organised by SWOV, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and the Baseline Coordination Team. Geertje Hegeman, head of the Road Safety Department, opened the meeting by highlighting the importance of Baseline for improving road safety in The Netherlands. Afterwards, the floor was given to multiple Member States to discuss the methodologies used for the different KPIs, the opportunities and difficulties they discovered, and the first results of their data collection.
The next General Assembly will take place on the 15th of June 2022.
